Ye olde Kings Head is a pub and hotel located on Lower Bridge Street, not far from the River Dee.
They serve hearty pub food for lunch and dinner and also offer an A La Carte menu. All of our food is home cooked and sourced as locally as possible. Our meat is supplied from award winning butchers Noel Bakers and our veg from Hawarden farms, just 5 miles down the road.
Haunted
In 2014 Yvette and her team visited Ye Olde Kings Head to film an episode of Most Haunted. There are so many instances of ghost activity that the current landlord keeps a file of all the accounts written by overnight guests. It makes very interesting reading – they all tell of being scared by drawers opening, wardrobe doors banging, children running up and down the corridors. But although they are scared, they all want to return.
