Back in 1986, Snugburys Ice Cream Farm was born when Chris and Cheryl started making ice cream in their Cheshire farmhouse kitchen. With delicious fresh cream, only the very best ingredients and an old Kenwood mixer Snugburys was created. They soon outgrew selling ice creams from their kitchen window and converted an old barn in the cobbled courtyard.

Fast forward 30 (odd) years and today sisters Hannah, Kitty and Cleo are at the helm with a fantastic team of ice cream makers and scoopers!

The original barn is still today the home of our famous Snugburys ice cream shop, which now attracts over 300,000 ‘ice creamers’ a year for a scoop or two of our award winning ice cream.  It is only a 20 minute drive from Chester.

With a 55 pan display of mouthwatering flavours, it can be a difficult thing for Snug fans to choose one glorious flavour! It’s no wonder our double cone is the biggest seller!

Snugburys Ice Cream Sculptures

For over 20 years, with the help of our great friend and talent Mike Harper Director of Harbook Engineering, we have been building amazing sculptures in our field which sits alongside the A51 Chester Road.

What does this have to do with ice cream? Well, not a lot, we just enjoy making them and love how much pleasure other people get from them!! Having said that with each new sculpture we have great fun making look alike ice cream cones. These in turn help to raise money for annually chosen charity.
