Treetop Challenge

This is the one. This is the biggy. Treetop Challenge is where to head if you want to test yourself physically and mentally on our most adventurous treetop trek. A mecca for thrill seekers who love canopy high tree-to-trees crossings, free-fall Tarzan Swings and riding super-fast, very long zips. This is grown-up fun in the great outdoors, find your nearest high ropes adventure!

Directions To Go Ape Delamere

By Car

Due to the rural location of the site we recommend that you do not use sat nav or GPS systems to locate the venue, however if you feel it will aid your journey, head for ‘Delamere Railway Station’ on Station Road – the B5152.Go Ape will be signposted from here and is only a few minutes away.  Parking: Follow the main forest road toward the Visitors Centre and drive through the barriers on the left into the main forest car park. Once parked, follow the signs out of the carpark. Turn right up the road. Then at the bridge turn left over the railway bridge and down towards the cabin.Please note: It will normally only take 5-10 minutes to get to the cabin from the car park, but it can take a little longer during peak times, there are no toilets at the cabin, toilets are located in all car parks.Parking is managed by Forestry England, please see the visitor information section on their website for full parking prices https://www.forestryengland.uk/delamere-forest all day parking ticket costs £8, giving you plenty of time to refuel at the café or to continue to live life adventurously on one of the Ape-tastic walking or biking trails that Delamere has to offer.

Delamere Railway Station is a Cheshire Best Kept Station and has won two awards in the Cheshire Best Kept Station Competition.Here’s the best bit – it is only a five-minute walk away, giving you the perfect opportunity to not only help the environment but also warm up those muscles and get the blood pumping!Once you have arrived at the station, take an immediate right into the forest following the path and you will see the Go Ape shelter and cabin on the right hand side in the forest.For train times please see Northern Franchise or call 0344 811 5111
