The Coronation Street Experience & Tour is a must visit attraction for any corrie fan. Coronation Street is Britain’s longest running soap, having been on British TV screens for over 60 years! It’s also the largest single production site in the world. The soap is set in the fictional town of Weatherfield, in Greater Manchester which is filmed at Media City in Salford.
What to expect from the Coronation Street experience tour
During this 90 minute experience, you will get immersed in Corrie history and you will have the chance to walk down the famous cobbles while experienced tour guides share great Corrie trivia and secrets. You will get access to all of the street’s most recognisable external places such as Roy’s Roll Cafe, the Kabin and Kev’s car shop. There’s more than enough time to take pictures at Roy’s Rolls and the Rovers Return. You will also get to enjoy a short film that contains many memorable and funny moments from over the 60 years.

Exhibition
Journey through the last 60 years of television history as you see original iconic props and costumes such as Dierdre’s famous glasses. There’s a collection of artwork, information on the characters and replica interior sets of The Dobbs, Roy’s Rolls and The Rovers Return. You can take your time in the exhibition reading through the history of the soap and its characters, there are also plenty of photo opportunities.
