Booth Mansion
Description
The Ballroom at Booth Mansion is based on the first floor of the building above the Rows on Watergate Street. This is where the Art Gallery and Tearooms are situated.
The Tearooms are a Classical English Tearoom. Based in the Earl of Warrington’s Ballroom, created in 1701, the Tearooms are an iconic destination for anybody visiting Chester.
Opened in Late 2016, the Tearooms are rapidly becoming one of the must try venues in Chester, ranked highly on the international website Trip Advisor, the Tearooms serve light refreshments and a wide range of Classic and Specialty Teas and a great tasting coffee and cakes.
Our two Signature dishes are our “Afternoon Tea” and “High Tea”. Having launched our Afternoon Teas in January 2017, we are rapidly being recommended by the Cestrian community as being the latest place to have Afternoon Tea, or you can try the full banquet of High Tea, a “Banquet for the Borrowers”, a selection of eight miniature courses of sweet and savouries.
As part of the Foundations commitment to supporting local Artists and Artisans we try to source as much of the menu in the Ballroom from local artisans and suppliers. Our range of English Teas is sourced from Fairtrade growers.
