Joseph Benjamin
Joseph Benjamin is a bustling little restaurant which can be found nestled against Chester’s famous city walls on Northgate Street, and is a two minute stroll from Storyhouse, the city’s brilliant theatre, library, cinema and arts centre.
Owned by two brothers Joseph Benjamin was opened in 2006 and it started life as a tiny 14 cover restaurant-café-delicatessen. Space for a few more seats was added in 2009 when neighbouring premises became vacant. The operation has evolved, brilliant people have joined the team, but a love of warm hospitality, good food and drink – prepared simply and honestly – remains the backbone of the business.
JB’s (as it’s known to its friends) is open for breakfast and lunch Tuesday to Sunday and for dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
