This year, Glasgow Christmas Market will have a new location.  The Winter Wonderland at St Enoch Square will open from the 6 November until 24 December 2025.  The opening times will be from 12pm until 9pm Sunday to Thursdays, and from 10am until 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays.  Due to George Square being closed this year, the new location is at Glasgow Green and will be running from 21 November 2025 until 4 January 2026.  It will be open from 3pm until 10pm between Mondays and Fridays, and from 12pm until 10pm at the weekends.  The timings will be extended during the Xmas period starting from 19 December.

St Enochs Glasgow Christmas Market

Old favourites of St Enochs Christmas Market will return including street food stalls, a marshmallow toasting station, and the Bavarian moose bar and swing grill where you can grab mulled festive drinks.  There will be live music on throughout the event.

Dates 16th November 2025 till 24th December 2025

The stalls will be open between the following times:

  • Fridays and Saturdays – 10am till 10pm
  • Exceptions to times on Saturdays and Sundays include: Christmas Eve (10am-8pm), Christmas Day (CLOSED), New Years Eve (10am-8pm), and New Years Day (CLOSED).
  • Sunday to Thursday – 12pm till 9pm
  • Exceptions to weekday times include: Thursday December 22nd and Friday December 23rd (10am-9pm), Tuesday December 27th – Friday December 30th (10am-9pm), and Monday January 2nd and Tuesday January 3rd (10am-9pm).

Hotels Near Glasgow Christmas Market

4. **Ibis Styles Glasgow Central**: Near bars, restaurants and shops, this modern budget hotel is a 5-minute walk from Glasgow Central train station and a 13-minute walk from George Square, which is filled with statues of renowned Scots.  Unfussy rooms feature free Wi-Fi and satellite/cable TV, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Suites add sofa beds.  A breakfast buffet is complimentary. There’s a colourful restaurant and a bar. Parking is available for a fee.

5. **Radisson Blu Hotel – Glasgow**: In a sleek contemporary building, this hip hotel is 0.2 miles from Glasgow Central train station and 0.3 miles from Princes Square Shopping Centre.  Slick rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows come with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and iPod docks, as well as minibars. Upgraded rooms add complimentary breakfast and Nespresso machines, while suites offer separate living areas. An apartment features a kitchen, 2 lounges and 3 TVs.  There’s a fine-dining restaurant, a chic cocktail bar and a relaxed pub. Other amenities include a health centre with an indoor pool and a gym.

Glasgow Green Christmas Market

The opening of the Winter Wonderland at Glasgow Green will be at on Friday, November 21st 2025 till January 4th 2026. It will have an ice rink in the heart of the city.  This year visitors will also be able to enjoy theatre performances at Glasgow Green including ‘Cinders Fella’ and ‘Jingle Around The World’.

Visitors to the Market at Glasgow Green can also sample the sights from the 33m high big wheel – and soar around Glasgow Green in Venetian flying chairs. The site also boasts a free entertainment stage, Victorian carousel, Santa’s flying balloons, children’s Christmas train ride, a street food hub, festive-themed bar, Bavarian swing grill – and a snow globe ideal for photo opportunities.  In keeping with tradition, a crib and 50ft Christmas tree will also take pride of place in Glasgow Green.  The Christmas Market at Glasgow Green and its ice rink will open from November 21st 2025 to January 4th 2026 on the days and times below:
  • Monday to Friday – 3pm-10pm (last skating session at 9pm)
  • With the exceptions of: Thursday December 1 (Noon-10pm), and Boxing Day, Monday December 26 (Noon-10pm).
  • Saturdays and Sundays – 12pm-10pm (last skating session at 9pm)
  • The timings will be extended during the Xmas period, starting from December 19
